Scotty Wright, jazz voice from California, returns to the Studio@620 and is joined by another West Coast sensation, Fil Lorenz, saxophonist/bandleader.Scotty has been a mainstay of the San Francisco Bay Area, and Fil was actually born and raised in San Francisco. Incredibly, the two had never met until they both came to Florida. With so many shared colleagues and interests, it was inevitable that they would make music together in their new neighborhood.Scotty’s soulful swinging style, and Fil’s fluent impassioned delivery, are combined with a tight 7-piece group that sounds as full as the big bands of old.
